Swing Arm Fall Protection System was designed to provide OSHA fall protection that does not interfere with the operation of the overhead crane. The arms simply fold away from the work area when not required to allow the overhead crane full access. When needed the safety system is folded in to position to provide an overhead fall arrest system that allows personnel to work safely and efficiently. EASE OF OPERATION Operation of the system is simple: The user extends the swing arm into position and ties off to the Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL) already installed on the system. Once work is completed,the user unhooks from the SRL and simply retracts the swing arm into a retracted position. ERGONOMIC By using low friction hinges with aluminum rigid rail track,we make the operation of the foldaway swing arm fall protection system smooth and user friendly. FALL ARREST CAPABILITY A self-retracting lifeline connects users to the swing arm system. When the user falls,the lifeline locks and thus arrests a fall. NO INTERFERENCE WITH OVERHEAD CRANE This System simply extends or retracts with the help of a user control box installed with the system. ALUMINUM RIGID TRACK The rigid track on the swing arm system provides free movement of the Self-retracting Lifeline so that the user can move freely over the length of the track,not hindering work performed.
